iHull - University of Hull |
The iHull vision is to support, nurture and develop the region's creative, digital and cultural industries, in partnership with a variety of other regional players. Our objectives are:
* To retain and nurture talent in our local hinterlands of Hull, Scarborough, the East Riding of Yorkshire, parts of North Yorkshire, North & North East Lincolnshire, linking into networks which extend down to Grimsby and up to Whitby, by developing entrepreneurship in graduates of the creative, digital and cultural disciplines;
* To develop new audiences and new markets, whether locally or globally, for cultural products and processes developed and produced in the region, principally by means of partnerships between the University of Hull and entrepreneurs, including our own students or graduates;
* To set up and consolidate networks of developers, producers, distributors, retailers, customers and consumers of cultural products and services which will establish the region as a world-class cultural hub. |
